District Sports Council

The Kozhikode District Sports Council is a body, constituted to develop the sports infrastructure and promote talent in the field of sports in Kozhikode District. The Council is responsible for the coordination and supervision of sports events organised by the Kerala State Sports Council as well as National Level Sports events held in the district of Kozhikode. Centralised Sports Hostels, School Sports Hostels, Swimming Pool for Children and Adults, Gymnastic Center, Open Gym, Indoor Stadium, Children's Sports Park, Sports Council Conference Hall, Indoor Stadium, Koyilandi Stadium and Day Boarding Centres are functioning under Kozhikode District Sports Council. It has also started Elite Training Centres for Athletics, Volleyball and Swimming.
